Mark Nesse

In my family music was excitement, a refuge, a place to express yourself. Everyone sang and some played the piano or other instruments.  I started singing in church in the third grade in Austin, Minnesota.  I met great friends and had exceptional choir directors.   

My mother was a beautiful soloist and pianist and she encouraged us all to get involved and have fun with music. At 13 I decided to trade in my cornet for an electric guitar and never turned back.  I played with a very powerful touring band in the mid 70's called Clear and had a blast.   I began writing songs during this time and continued  on until I committed to recording my first album, Love Joy Peace.  This album is a series of my life stories and experiences.  

I hope you find some joy in these songs. I will continue to release new material next year so stay tuned and live it up!
